Not only because the location is in paradise but because every single part is pure and authentic, with respect voor each other and for the local culture and people. The furniture is made of natural and durable materials in a beautiful and peaceful design. The food is fresh, local and so delicious that it also feeds the soul. Everyone is taking care of you in a lovely and personal way. You can combine enjoying the peace and quit with activities in and out the hotel. The yoga teacher is incredible and it is not possible not to feel her energy, so I would recommend to follow at least one lesson. The massages are so relaxing that I almost had one every day. Swimming with the dolphins and visiting the Salaam Aquarium was really incredible. Even during rain season, there was no place I’d rather be. For me it was the perfect retreat, but I would love to come back with my boyfriend, with friends and would also recommend it with children. This place has a place in my heart, so I’ll be back!I want to give a special Asante for Japhet, Hatham, Adam for making my stay memorable ♡

The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.
