Clean,well decorated, spacious and literally 5 seconds walk to the crystal clear beaches of kini. The stuff were super friendly and the owners sat with us and explained in detail everything the island has to offer. Every recommendation was on point. We Stayed and extra night syros is an amazing island - and Oro suites is definitely an experience of it’s own.

Great balcony, very high quality interior, awesome cocomat bed. Free, well-stocked minibar. The suite is probably the best way to stay on Syros. Helpful staff, even in case of very late check-in and early morning departure.

Syros Atlantis Hotel is a minute walk from the sandy beach of Vari and 8 km from Ermoupolis and the imposing Frankish old town of Ano Syros. What an absolute treat. I was skeptical at first when picking this hotel as compared to one that was right by the beach. Lots of reviews mentioned the breakfast and hospitality which is why I ultimately decided to stay here as opposed to another hotel right on the beach -- I am so thankful I did! From the second you arrive, you are greeted with excellent hospitality. The lovely couple that owns the establishment make you feel welcome and put you in a great mood to explore the island. You basically get the hospitality of a homestay with the privacy and autonomy of a hotel. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations. I am a pastry student at LCB paris, and Giorgos' routine is nothing short of exceptional. He begins preparing the elaborate morning feast at 3:30 AM each day. Among the assortment are fresh greek pies, meats, and other Mediterranean treats as well as coffee and lovely orange juice. The breakfast combined with the service was the perfect start to each of my days on Syros. In terms of amenities: my room was cleaned daily and was secure. I actually forgot my passport and had to rush back to the hotel to grab it and was pleasantly surprised that it was safe and waiting for me when I arrived. The room itself was much bigger than I could have hoped and had a balcony with beautiful blue lighting and Cycladic stonework -- definitely my favorite part of the room. The parking is very nice as well. The hotel was beautiful in general with beautiful landscaping and tasteful decor. Lastly, location: As I mentioned before, I was skeptical about not being on the beach. When I arrived, I found that I had nothing to worry about. The nearest beach is a short (<1 min) walk from the hotel and offers free beach beds with the purchase of anything on the menu (a large beer is about 3 euros here for the price point). I rented a quad bike for my stay and found that I was about 15 minutes away from agathopes beach and 15 mins from ermoupoli. Varis is a great location!

Hotel Kamelo is conveniently located only a few metres away from the sandy beach of Vari. Situated in a quiet cove of crystal clear waters, perfect place to disconnect. Although it consists of a small strip of a couple hotels and restaurants, you want for nothing. And it’s a quick trip into Ermoupoli if you needed something more.
